Cross-Disciplinary Leadership Training
The Emerging Leaders Alliance is a partnership among leading engineering, research and science-based organizations that provides high quality leadership training.
Our mission is to provide an interdisciplinary annual conference for select professionals, promoting the development of great leaders to guide our professions in addressing the needs of people in the 21st century.
Academic institutions address some of these needs through undergraduate programs. Traditionally, large corporations have provided leadership training programs to their employees. More frequently, however, job growth has been driven by small and medium corporations, which may not have the resources to provide training. The challenges facing the scientific and engineering community of the future require the engagement of professionals in industry, academia and government agencies. As such, it is particularly appropriate for professional societies to provide training in these areas.
